reinvention is the mother of necessity or the simplest way to be a dancehall diva.
so heres looking at a new random mishmash of info.
I'm really not feeling this ad for sonia rykiel's h&m line . The lingerie is nice and the styling is alright, but i just feel the model selection could have been better. Please don't think that i hate lara stone ,im actually a big fan of her work but could they have just dyed in her eyebrows for this one shoot. Her blank brow works on the runway or in high fashion editorial but for mass market commercial work its a little sexy cro-magnon. Also Caroline trientini looks wonderful and its nice to see her actually posing but the cut and color of her hair screams, this is a slow month at vogue so just dye the girl's hair red and call it a day. she would have been smoldering and sexy if they had just kept her original hair color and bangs but curled her hair or done it in a soft wave. im only criticizing because i can imagine jane doe american walking in h&m and looking at that the ad thinking. why are they looking to the left and ,why are the sexy cromag poodles?Labels: cro-magnon, lara stone, poodle, sonia rykiel

im completly in love with sonny groo's idea of taking oversized pants and drapping them around your body. usually i try to avoid oversized anything to avoid looking mid 90's fubu thugish. but sonny's technique works for me because its cheap and adaptable to my mood or the moment. plus its a better option than having to go on an epic quest for harem pants or taking the time to diy a few more pair.Labels: crazytown, louis vuitton, marc jacobs
it was awesome seeing tavi in the style.com video for alexander wang, its great seeing young bloggers like her being recognized by vogue. hopefully one day tavi will be in a vogue or maybe teen vogue spread of her own. but its funny when you think about it, shes been in both pop magazine and a form of vogue in that same month go tavi!Labels: alexander wang, tavi, vogue
stam's new editorial for vs is amazing and the jewelry styling is aspirational , but lately my love for stam has wained. three years ago if someone told me their was a new ad or editorial featuring her i would have been ecstatic. however now i feel like I've seen it all and to me she doesn't seem to pop .
